Meredith Riley Managing Partner
Meredith specializes in the placement of partners, practice groups, counsel and associates in California and throughout the U.S. Meredith received her B.A. in Communications and Journalism from University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to entering the legal search arena, Meredith placed software developers and engineers in the technology sector. Since 2000, she has successfully represented numerous prominent partners and groups at several leading law firms including: Gibson Dunn, O’Melveny, Alston & Bird, Skadden Arps, Norton Rose Fulbright, DLA, King & Spalding, Greenberg Traurig, Morrison & Foerster, Baker & Hostetler, ArentFox Schiff, Blank Rome, Quinn Emanuel, Perkins Coie, Buchalter, Sidley & Austin, Crowell & Moring, Reed Smith, etc. Meredith is a highly accomplished and results oriented recruiter with in-depth knowledge of her clients and the legal market. Her relational approach to recruitment ensures both clients and candidates find their perfect match.
Outside of recruiting, Meredith enjoys traveling, singing, collecting antiques, yoga, writing, and exploring new restaurants and museums.
Jennifer Hamilton Marketing Associate
Jennifer is a key member of our team and plays a critical role in helping to manage the information between candidates, clients and recruiters. She is also involved in research and gathering market knowledge required for our recruitment search process. Jennifer earned a B.S. from Villanova University. Prior to joining LLS, she worked as a Sales & Marketing Assistant for a technology and IT staffing firm, and an event planner for a non-profit organization.
Outside of the office, Jennifer can be found gardening, horseback riding & hiking, and is involved in various charitable organizations.
Stephen Connors Director
Steve oversees the marketing, communication and business development efforts of the firm. Steve is also focused on attorney recruitment and is responsible for handling a number of key searches. He works collaboratively with partners, counsels and associates seeking to grow their career and takes the time to truly understand client needs to build high performing long lasting teams. Steve earned his B.S. from UCLA. After graduation, he worked for 10 years on Wall Street at Morgan Stanley. After relocating to California, he went on to become Vice President of a major regional bank. Following this, Steve worked as a financial consultant for Time Warner Cable.
Outside of work, Steve enjoys golf, playing the piano (jazz & boogie), and spending time on his beautiful horse ranch.
